Cupertino has something for every taste in its range, from small and pocket-sized to the heavyweight class bordering on the tablet segment. In this context, the 12 Mini stands out, such a compact phone is an exception at a time when displays are getting bigger and bigger.

Such an XXL model is only bought by intensive users who do everything they can with their smartphone. Compared to its predecessor, Apple has enlarged the display from 6.5 to 6.7 inches. The case is only slightly larger, but the 11 Pro Max is already one of the largest and heaviest phones in its class.

The sheer size of the display ensures a good overview of everything you do on your smartphone; Films and games look great and are complemented by powerful stereo speakers.

Compared to the 11 Pro Max, the battery has shrunk by almost 300 mAh. Thanks to the particularly efficient A14, there is no shortened run time associated with this. With 13:30 hours, the phone even lasted 20 minutes longer than its predecessor in the endurance test.

The 12 Mini manages just under ten hours. This value impressed us even more, because the rule of thumb usually applies: the smaller the phone, the worse the battery life.
